ruby on rails - One Heroku worker process for both delayed_job and sidekiq? -
currently our heroku app has 2 dynos: web , worker. worker dyno set run bundle exec rake jobs:work
, starts delayed_job. have new sidekiq jobs need run. (i plan convert our delayed_job jobs sidekiq soon, haven't yet.) question is: need add , pay third heroku dyno ("sidekiqworker"?), or there way me specify existing worker dyno run both delayed_job , sidekiq?
you need pay third heroku dyno unfortunately. i've experimented naming both processes "workers" 1 registered while other 1 wouldn't be. when adding new process name, heroku updates , set new process name 0 dynos.
